The second session of How Catholics Think: Lunch with St. John Henry Newman will be led by Fr. James Heft, SM (Professor of Religion, USC Dornslife). This session will discuss “How should I use my conscience? Newman on infallibility.” Join us for our Friday lunches in February and March at the CC Patio for conversation and a light lunch!

Readings for this session will include selections by Roderick Strange from Newman 101: An Introduction to the Life and Philosophy of John Cardinal Newman (Christian Classics; Notre Dame, 2008). Read chapter 4 “Infallible Authority".” A PDF version can be found below.
