Come hear the amazing story of the scientist and Catholic convert who survived the atomic bomb on Nagasaki and brought healing to his people. Even as he suffered from leukemia from the radiation, Dr. Takashi Nagai lived a heroic life of service and forgiveness. Join us as Dr. Suzanne Bohlson, professor of molecular biology at UC Irvine—another scientist and Catholic convert—tells the story of Nagai’s remarkable life. Dr. Bohlson will share her own story along the way and suggest what we can learn from Nagai.
